Peter Ashworth is founding Principal of Brilliant Blue, and serves as Chief Creative Officer, steward of growth and quality for the corporation, and chief architect of brand strategy and creative development for our clients. An intuitive and seasoned business leader, Peter's 25+ years of strategic business building, entrepreneurship, and branding and design experience – provides our clients with the insight, logic and creative perspective that turns market place business challenges into viable growth opportunities.

Peter's hands-on involvement in day-to-day business and his understanding of the important need to combine strong creative processes with a well researched and viable business strategy have enabled him to successfully integrate brand strategy into online and offline brand messages has fostered successful partnerships with corporations including UPS, Merrill Lynch, Computer Associates, State Farm, Hyatt Hotels, Unigene, NFL, Cardiogenesis Corporation, Sikorsky Helicopter and hundreds of other small and mid-tier companies in the U.S., Europe and the Pacific – both B2B and B2C. His expertise is combining aggressive growth strategies with a combination of strong creative and technology applications, and as a creative innovator in marketing technology applications he has significant experience combining strong targeted messaging (read: relevance) in the interactive and traditional media and as an entrepreneur has started and managed several marketing organizations.

James Hatfield

James Hatfield | Interactive Director

James Hatfield is a founding associate at Brilliant Blue with over 15 years of experience in design and advertising and over 10 years dedicated to Interactive Design and Digital Media.

As Interactive Director James provides a cross-discipline problem solving approach to all interactive projects at Brilliant Blue directly integrating creative philosophies with technical strategies. James brings to Brilliant Blue great depth and breadth of experience in web design + creative, information technology + online branding strategy. Skillsets: Information Architecture, Rich Internet Applications, Content Management Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Usability, Accessibility. Integration of Creative with Technology, founded on sound Strategic initiatives.

Just prior to joining Brilliant Blue James completed a career highlighting project providing art, brand and interactive direction for ToyotaOwnersOnline.com an online portal for Toyota owners supported by Toyota Parts and Service and the Toyota Corporation. James served as Art Director and Lead Web Developer for Avamar Technologies, a start up company later purchased for US$165 million by EMC. Other clients: Canon, Bates Worldwide, Blizzard Entertainment, Nissan, Hyundai, Del Taco.

Throughout his many years as a designer, developer and interactive technology advocate, James has consistently pursued excellence, finding the outer limits of what is possible and boldly pushing through each time to discover fresh ideas and innovative solutions. James brings this passion and commitment to each and every project.
